| On May 4, 2025, My Roar Speech Therapy launched its very first Roar and Explore community event — and it was a roaring success! 🦁✨ Held at Apex Community Park, this Safari Adventure welcomed families into a world of playful learning, connection, and communication. From swinging and stomping to scavenger hunts and snack chats, every activity was thoughtfully crafted to build speech, language, and social skills—naturally and joyfully.  – Free Admission & Open Play: Families explored the park alongside licensed therapists who offered fun, language-rich activities at every turn. – Interactive Safari-Themed Stations: Kids roared like lions, stomped like dinos, and discovered sensory treasures in our Roar Ranger Missions. – Parent Coaching On-Site: Our therapists modeled strategies and provided practical tips for encouraging communication during everyday play. – Snacks, Handouts & Take-Home Tools: We offered themed activity sheets and light refreshments to make learning relaxed and accessible. – Community Connection: Parents connected with other families, while children played and practiced social turn-taking in a safe, inclusive environment.  – Every child received a Roar and Explore t-shirt to kick off their adventure in style! – Kids earned stickers for completing challenges like “Trying a New Word” or “Helping a Friend.” – Our Speech Sound Safari and Pretend Play Jungle were instant hits with little explorers. We’re deeply grateful to every family who joined us on this first adventure. 🧡 The laughter, learning, and love we witnessed remind us why we do what we do. And guess what?
