Where Our Roots and Roars Begin.
When I founded My Roar Therapy, I wasn’t just opening a clinic. I was creating the space I wish had existed: a place where families feel held, kids are seen and celebrated, and every single way of communicating is not just respected—but honored with joy.
The Journey
My path into speech-language pathology wasn’t linear, but it was deeply personal. I entered this work with one core desire: to truly see children. Not to fix them. Not to fit them into a mold. But to listen—to their sounds, their silences, their sparks—and help the world hear them too.
I saw how often neurodivergent voices were overlooked, and how many families were navigating systems that didn’t understand or uplift them. I wanted to offer something different.
A practice that says:
Your child is not broken.
Their voice matters.
And we’ll walk with you—never ahead of you.
Why “My Roar”?
Because every child deserves to Roar—in their own way, on their own terms.
Whether that “Roar” shows up as gestures, eye gaze, echolalia, AAC, signs, or play—it’s real. It’s powerful. And it deserves to be met with celebration, not correction.
This work is not about volume—it’s about voice. It’s about agency, safety, joy, and connection.

Our Values in Action My ROAR is built on more than services—it’s built on soul. Our core values aren’t just on the wall; they’re in every session, every family call, every team huddle. We lead with:
What started as a dream is now a movement. My Roar Therapy isn’t just a clinic. It’s a declaration: Every voice matters here. Every roar belongs. Looking Ahead As we grow, our heart remains the same. I see each family as a partner, each child as a guide, and each therapist as a force of change. Thank you for trusting us with your journey. |
